
One of Europe's Largest Broadband Communications Companies Purchases Network Services from Level 3 in Europe and North America and on Level 3's Transatlantic Cable
BROOMFIELD, Colo., June 12, 2001 - Level 3 Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq:LVLT) today announced it has signed agreements to provide a range of network services to NTL (a division of NTLI; NYSE:NLI), the United Kingdom's leading broadband communications company, providing services throughout the British Isles, Europe and Australia. NTL purchased services from Level 3 in Europe and North America and on Level 3's transatlantic cable. Under the terms of the agreements with Level 3, NTL purchased international private lines connecting London to New York and Washington, D.C., colocation space in Level 3 data centers in London, Washington, D.C. and New York, plus Level 3's (3)CrossRoads service.
